Many incredible artists have poured blood, sweat and tears into their submissions--myself included--and all the proceeds are going to be donated to a charity for young artist (link to foundation below). A Girl and her Alien

It's been a long time since I last did a big update, mostly because I've been focusing on my art blog more so than I have been paying any attention to my DA account; poor, poor DA account... Anyway, I hope by now that you all are either lurking or following my blog as there are a lot more doodles and pieces posted up there. Still, I finally decided to put up a few sample pieces of an ongoing project I've been working on for some time now, a story simply called 'Millie & Vern'. Originally, I bounced between the idea of either turning it into a comic or a book for kids, but I've finally settled on turning it into a more visual medium like a comic book.
What's it about, you may ask. Well, I don't want to say too much just yet, but it's the story of a little girl named Millie who befriends an alien seeking something valuable, and about the treasure-hunting adventure she finds herself tangled in. Mayhem, adventure, and ice cream eating ensues. So far, I only have character designs and some visual development to show for digitally, but I have made many sketches, notes, and even started work on a first draft script.
This is my first time doing such a long solo project, and I hope that some day in the future I can bring good news once it kicks into high gear and is actually in comic form. Until then, I'll do my best to remember to bring updates over to DA, but there will certainly be more stuff on my blog. Look forward to it, won't you!

This isn't Art related, at least not in the drawing/digital sense. Putting this up here for any doll collectors (veteran and potential) who do not have access to DoA forum threads/marketplace access.
I'm selling my Fairlyland Littlefee Rolly, due to my unfortunate inability to bond with the sculpt as well as I had hoped. She was made in 2012, early this year, is a normal skin tone and is sporting a default face-up. I am looking to sell her for $400.00 (that includes shipping), and she will come with extras!
Everything Included in Sale Is:
*Rolly Open-Eyed Face-Plate w/default face up
*Littlefee Girl body (great posers!)
*Default Box, Manual & Face-Cover
*14mm Glass Eyes (random color)
*Extra Pair of Hands (clenching; very easy to swap on body)
*6-7 Wig
Please Note: The face-plate & head back magnets had been dislodged and lost at some point, but replacement magnets will be sent out along with the doll, so it's an easy fix.
If there are any questions at all (I don't care how little), please feel free to leave a comment or send a note. I hope to find this little cutie a good home with an owner who will appreciate her much more than I. She truly deserves it. Thanks for your time!
